My name is AVIGAIL
10+ years experience in graphic/print design, web development, Google analytics, and social media management.
I became a digital communicator after I spent time in the Peruvian Amazon as an Ornithology research assistant. Our research impacted government policy on Eco-Tourism and also educated and trained Peruvian locals to protect their natural resources.
I began to notice advertisements for Ecotourism and I realized the disconnect between our work in the field and the messages consumers were getting about green travel. I wanted to use my talents to communicate in effective and meaningful ways. I wanted to be the voice of the hard-working and well-meaning research scientists and help them achieve their mission.

“Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future.” — Robert L. Peters
My web design career took off as I spent 10 months on the Island of Montserrat after a volcano destroyed the capital city. As the Island rebounded, I hit the ground to help create websites for local organizations, such as the Montserrat Humane Society and local Real Estate brokers eager to attract tourism back to the island.
Throughout my career, the ability to attract clients in both print and web has allowed me to work with Creative Directors, Print shops, Administrative staff, IT departments and Marketing teams. I am constantly learning the tools, apps, and platforms that rise to the top, while ever growing my skills as a graphic and web designer.
I liken being a designer and developer to the story of the Tortoise and the Hare. Sometimes I feel like the hare... racing ahead publish alerts, multitasking on the run. Other times I feel like the tortoise.. trudging through a process or a problem and ultimately finding the solution to win. In the end... My clients are satisfied and the job gets done!
